Wayland Residential March 2025
Day 1
Wayland Class have arrived safely at PGL Liddington. They have had their lunch, met their instructor and are currently enjoying some games in the sun.
Crate Challenge
Quote from Mrs Beynon's group about their first day, 'It has been brilliant so far and the best bit is that I got a bullseye. The food is great and there is lots of it. We would have liked filling in the cake though so 9/10! We are excited to find out who we are sharing rooms with.'
Day 2
Everyone is awake and would like to say how comfy the beds were. It was a good night and everyone did well once the sugar high from the midnight feast subsided!
From the children - We kept falling off the crate stack and we had an impromptu fire drill yesterday evening, luckily not during our dinner and what was brilliant was that although some of us were homesick, we all managed to have a good night and feel fantastic about it.
The children who were wobbly were magnificent and really faced their fears - we are very proud of them.

Problem Solving
The children finished the day with a game of ambush in the dark and surprise visit from Mrs Cook before bedtime.
Day 3
Ready and raring to go this morning.
Mrs Sheppard said everyone is safely packed and ready to enjoy their last day. They had a very quiet and settled night last night.
The food is still going down well.
