SIAMS
SIAMS inspection - June 2025
We are excited to share some major highlights from our most recent SIAMS inspection and to celebrate our vibrant school community. At Uffington, we pride ourselves on fostering a strong culture of welcome and care, deeply rooted in our vision of love, respect, and resilience, inspired by the Parable of the Lost Sheep.
Major Highlights
Inclusive and Nurturing Environment - Our commitment to ensuring that “Everyone Matters” is evident in our approaches, such as the buddying programme and parent workshops. These initiatives help our pupils and parents feel valued and known, allowing everyone to flourish.
Strong Community Engagement - Our partnerships with the diocese and the Cambrian Learning Trust enhance our training and development opportunities for staff, leaders, and governors. This collaboration empowers our school community to thrive together, with governors actively participating in daily school life and worship.
Well-Designed Curriculum - The curriculum is inclusive and tailored to meet the diverse needs of our pupils. It celebrates individual talents and integrates rich opportunities for spiritual development. Events like Founder’s Day and STEM weeks allow pupils to explore their environment and deepen their appreciation for nature and community.
Valued Collective Worship - Daily collective worship is a cornerstone of our school life, engaging pupils in exploring our vision and values through Bible stories. Our strong ties with local clergy enrich this experience, fostering a deeper understanding of faith and spirituality. - Empowerment through Service
Our Pupil Parliament exemplifies our commitment to community service, encouraging pupils to take initiative and responsibility. Through projects like the walking bus, pupils learn the importance of their actions and their impact on the wider community.
